“We won’t be out of the woods,” Harvey Sotland told the school board last night, “until we know what path the state will put us on.”

A partial tax exemption for wartime veterans may be on the agenda when the Board of Education meets on Dec. 7.

The school board postponed the vote on a partial tax exemption for veterans, because a member of the board wasn’t able to attend the meeting.

At tonight’s meeting in the middle school cafeteria, the Board of Education will vote on a partial tax exemption for veterans who served during war time.
