The Board of Education will hold a public hearing on a partial tax exemption for veterans at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 in the middle school. The hearing will be followed by the board’s monthly work session.
People who prefer to send written comments can address them to the Board of Education, Cornwall Central School District, 24 Idlewild Avenue, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520.
If the board grants the partial exemption, it will affect people who were on active duty in the military during wartime.
