Robert L. Galvin, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on October 23, 2022 at his home. He was 75 years old.

The son of the late Robert J. Galvin and Mary R. (Pellington) Galvin, Robert was born on April 8, 1947 in New York City, NY.

Robert honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the US Army from 1967-1988 and the US Air Force from 1988-2006 and was deployed during Vietnam, Desert Storm, and the War on Terror (9/11). Robert was activated to Ground Zero and Battery Park after 9/11.

His love for his country and veterans led Robert to volunteer and advocate for local veterans through the Hudson Valley Honor Flight Organization. He took part in two of the first Honor Flights to Washington, DC serving as a guardian to World War II veterans.

Robert was an avid coin and record collector. He enjoyed family vacations, card games with friends, exploring his family history, and days spent reminiscing with his brother, Michael.
