Flag football isn’t new. It’s been an option for kids in Cornwall for the last six years. But this is the first time it’s been offered in the fall rather than the spring.

On Dec. 19, Cornwall will join other communities in observing Wreaths Across America. There will be a brief ceremony in St. Thomas Cemetery followed by the decoration of 332 veterans’ graves.
Isaacs, a 20-year resident of the Town of Newburgh, recently moved to Scotchtown, but has been an active member of the Cornwall Public Library’s writer’s group for nearly four years.
