Candidates seek re-election

In the sports world, it would be considered an epic battle. The local race for the state senate features two contestants with a history of success on Election Day.

After the first seven hours of today’s primary, St. Thomas of Canterbury School had seen the most voters.

Deputy Mayor James Kane and Trustee Lori Beth Paliotta are running uncontested for two open seats. The last contested race was three years ago.
