On Tuesday, Sept. 17, state, county and town representatives met with hospital officials to discuss the reduced hours for the Cornwall Emergency Department. What follows is the copy for the hospital’s Power Point presentation.

The group is due to meet again in early October. The hospital has applied to the Department of Health for permission to close the Emergency Room from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. State Sen. Larkin says there is no set date for the hearing. He indicates that there may be a statewide conference to discuss the issue of part-time Emergency Rooms.
