Anthony J. Chain, of Montgomery entered into eternal rest on Dec. 7. He was 63 years old.

The Town Board will hold a special meeting, at 7 p.m. on Monday, to approve the purchase of a replacement boiler for Town Hall.

Perhaps you were out and about this weekend and noticed an addition to Hudson Street – a new sign at the Cornwall-on-Hudson border. Hand sculpted and painted, the sign was created by Clay Boone from

Daniel Hess, a 2015 Cornwall graduate, recently competed in a national competition sponsored by the American Culinary Federation. The SUNY Delhi culinary arts graduate earned the trip by taking the Northeast Regional Title in February.

Ian J. Sousa, of Cornwall, passed away peacefully on June 2, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 75.

The Fourth of July Committee will be holding an ice cream social from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Munger Cottage. The event will raise money for the fireworks display.
