Black Rock Fish and Game Club had some special guests on July 12 – a group of seven homeless men from the Missionaries of Charity Queen of Peace Home in the south Bronx.
Summer is well underway and more and more people are making their way outdoors to participate in various activities whether they’re sports related, for leisure, or even to work around the house.
At the end of the ceremony, Major Craig Williams joked that it made him feel old. He had served 36 years in the New York Army National Guard, including a tour of duty in Iraq.
Chick and Betty Jurgens proved that there’s life after high school sports. It’s one of the reasons why they’re the grand marshals of this year’s Fourth of July parade.
