Andrea C. Agnew

Andrea “Andi” C. Agnew, of Grahamsville, NY peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 2, 2021 at The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh, NY.  She was 73 years old.

The daughter of the late Milford Cook and Hope (Secor) Cook, Andi was born on January 12, 1948 in Albany, NY.  

Andi was a longtime Caregiver to so many children throughout the years.  The countless children and families she touched were forever in her heart.

A family statement reads: “Nana was a genuinely kind and loving person that always put a smile on our faces. We are so grateful for her love, strength, and support for us all.  She will be missed greatly and forever remain in our hearts.”

Andi was predeceased by her loving husband: L. Jack Agnew.  She is survived by her daughter: Bryndis (Agnew) Semo and her husband Jason of Cornwall, NY; her sons: Blake Agnew of Wilmington, NC and Kristian Agnew of Boulder, CO; her 7 grandchildren: Aidan, Sophia, Lydia, Hudson, Ryatt, Emery, and Joseph; and her sisters: Barbara Dietrich, Nancy Moore and Debbie Novak.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 5th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, September 6th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.  Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
