Silvana L. Rogan

December 28, 1972—August 12, 2021

New Windsor, NY

Silvana L. Rogan, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on August 12, 2021 after a short illness at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.  She was 48 years old.

The daughter of the late Luis Roca and Gladys (Pacheco) Roca, Silvana was born on December 28, 1972 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.  

Silvana earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Ecuador and was an Assistant Teacher at Sportsplex in New Windsor, NY.  She also spent many years working at Chase Bank in Cornwall, NY.

Silvana was an active member in the Community and a blessed individual. We share her favorite bible verse: Jeremiah 29:11, “‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Silvana was loved by her family and friends worldwide and will be missed by many. She was one of six brothers and sisters; leaving behind Angelina, Olga, Miriam, Ernesto, and now joining her brother Luis in heaven.

Silvana is survived by her loving and devoted husband: Thomas P. Rogan and her beloved daughter: Cynthia C. Rogan at home.

Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home. 

Visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.  Interment followed the Mass at St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.

 Memorial Contributions in Silvana’s name may be made to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, Taylor Pavilion, Suite C3, 100 Woods Road, Valhalla, NY 10595.
