Elizabeth Ellen Larkin

February 15, 1947–February 23, 2021

Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY

Elizabeth Ellen Larkin, of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY entered into eternal rest on February 23, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side. She was 74 years old.

The daughter of the late John Francis Kinsler and Ella (Schroff) Kinsler, Ellen was born on February 15, 1947 in Cornwall, NY.

Ellen was an Admitting Supervisor at The Cornwall Hospital for 24 years where she loved her job and community, her work as a Patient Access Supervisor continued at Orange Regional Medical Center from which she retired in 2010, and then she began her favorite job as Grandma.

Ellen enjoyed her time volunteering for the Cornwall Historical Society, and planning reunions for the Class of ‘64, and of course The Q Crew Autism events.  She cherished trips with her family to Cape Cod, the Outer Banks and GSL. She loved sitting by a good fire enjoying laughter and s’mores.  Spending time with her family, wherever it may be, was what brought her the greatest joy.

“Mom as you all know was a great woman.  She had a love for her family and friends that was unlike any other.  Her friends were gold, her children were her greatest accomplishment, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy!   She had a heart of gold and there is nothing she wouldn’t do for you. Until we meet again…we love you, Mom.”

Ellen is survived by her children: Steven J. Larkin (Melanie) of Cornwall-On-Hudson, Tracy M. Larkin-Stadler of Walden, Scott G. Larkin (Trisha) of Milton, Sarah E. Larkin-Bahr (Matt) of Highland and Kevin J.
