Dagny Lindland

June 12, 1926-February 25, 2020

Dagny Lindland of Cornwall entered peacefully into eternal rest on Feb. 25, 2020 at home. She was 93 years old.

The daughter of the late Adof  Pettersen and Aslavg Haugen, Dagny was born on June 12, 1926 in Torpa, Norway.  She was the proud retired owner of Scandin-avian Imports in New City.

She was a member of Sons of Norway and enjoyed sewing, doll making, and baking. Above all else, Dagny loved spending time with her family and close friends.  Her smile was contagious and her presence would light up the room. She will be greatly missed by all who came to know her.

Dagny is survived by her loving and devoted husband: Egil Lindland; her sons: Kenneth Lindland and his wife Chris, Tore Lindland and his wife Susan, Dag Lindland and his wife Debbie and Arild Lindland and his wife Frances; and nine grandchildren.

Egil Lindland

September 19, 1929-March 7, 2020

Cornwall

Egil Lindland, of Cornwall, NY entered peacefully into eternal rest on March 7, at home.  He was 90 years old.

The son of the late Kristian Lindland and Martha (Glidi) Lindland, Egil was born on Sept. 19, 1929 in Songe, Norway.  

Egil was a talented carpenter and builder who could take a piece of vacant land, visualize a home and build it.  And then move on to his next project.  He was a member of Sons of Norway and enjoyed hiking, spending time with family and finding projects around the house to keep him self busy and healthy. He will be missed greatly.

Egil was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife, Dagny on Feb. 25.  He is survived by his sons: Kenneth Lindland and his wife Chris, Tore Lindland and his wife Susan, Dag Lindland and his wife Debbie and Arild Lindland and his wife Frances; and nine grandchildren.
