Robert “Bob” Ahlstedt

New Windsor

Robert “Bob” Ahlstedt of New Windsor, a retired salesman, entered into rest on Wednesday, Oct. 2. He was 81 years old.

The son of the late Harry Ahlstedt and Mary J. Hurson, he was born Oct. 30, 1937 in Yonkers. Bob was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Newburgh and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, from 1955 to 1961.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Barbara Ahlstedt; son, Thomas E. Reilly; brothers Harry, Bernie, and James; and sisters Ann and Mary, he is survived by his daughter, Marianne Smith and her husband, Martin of New Windsor; his grandchildren: Sean Greene of Cornwall; Shannon Greene Ciuro and her husband, Kenneth, of Cornwall; Kristen Reilly of Connecticut; and Thomas Reilly and his wife, Caitlin, of Nanuet, and many nieces and nephews.

At Bob’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joe Raso Hospice Residence, 415 Buena Vista Rd. New City, NY 10956

Donna L. Seaman

July 30, 1950-October 2, 2019

New Windsor

Donna L. Seaman of New Windsor, entered into rest on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. She was 69.

The daughter of the late Henry B. and Clara Kirk Seaman, II, she was born on July 30, 1950 in Cornwall.

Donna was a longtime employee of the Times Herald Record as a customer service advocate. She was also employed at both the Cornwall Central School District and the Angola Roller Rink, She had a great love for karaoke and country music. She had a tireless generosity and many were blessed to look upon her as a maternal figure. Her family was central to her life.

Survivors include: her beloved son Chad Yorke and his wife Megan; granddaughter Halley; sister-in-law Sylvia Seaman; nieces and nephew: Lori Noller, Patti-Jo Henry, Barbara Curran and H. Benjamin, IV; cousin Michelle Welton and lifelong friends Carol Brush, Laura Bunora and Ray Faig; plus many cousins, great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Henry Seaman, III.
