A festive Fourth of July! July 5, 2019 Editorial Staff Grand Marshal Mary O’Mara wore a red, white and blue hat and a smile as she rode down Main Street. The Cornwall Garden Club had one of the most colorful floats in the parade. The number of antique cars in the parade is increasing. The Cornwall Public Library float encouraged people to read. One of the youngest runners was among the early finishers in the Main Street Mile. Ameliarose Allen, an American Idol qualifier, was part of the afternoon entertainment. Government Marty Sauer at Town Court last night August 31, 2018 Ken Cashman Marty Sauer was in Town Court yesterday to answer a July 21 charge of soliciting without a permit. The police had arrested Mr. Sauer after he refused to move his vegetable truck from its traditional location on Route 32.
