Wayne H. Garnsey

April 15, 1946-July 6, 2016

Wayne H. Garnsey, of Blooming Grove entered into eternal rest on July 6 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was 70 years old.

The son of the late Bruce Garnsey and Bertha E. Curran Garnsey, Wayne was born on April 15, 1946 in Grassmere, N.H.

He was the Owner of N & N Publishing Company in Middletown, N.Y.

Wayne was an active member and Secretary of the Cornwall Yacht Club in Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY and also a member of the US Power Squadron.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jane E. Ryan Garnsey, at home; his brother, Rev. Ken Garnsey; a sister, Laurel Rudnik; his nephew, Brian Garnsey; and nieces, Kris Bertoni and Kim Martin.

A Memorial Gathering was due to be held on Thursday, July 14 at 2 p.m., with a Service to follow at 3 p.m. at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
