Three local high school students organized a “Night of Peace” as a response to the terrorist attacks last month in France.
The event attracted about 100 people last night, and raised money for Secours Populaire, a French organization that helps victims of poverty, natural disasters and conflicts.
The students (Karlie Ashcroft, Chelsea Gualano and Mackenzie Milano) hope to make the Night of Peace an annual event. Details will appear in a future edition of the Local.
