Black Rock gets grant for path

Black Rock Forest Consortium will receive a $216,924 matching grant from New York State for a Visitor Access Pathway.

Bill Schuster, the consortium’s executive director, reports that staff members are already working on the path, and a contractor has been approached about the first phase of the project.

The goal is to have Phase I completed by next August, and the entire project finished by the fall of 2017. See details in this week’s Local.
