Poster contest winners

The award winners at the Timothy Mumford Memorial Poetry Contest change every year. But a part of the audience remains the same.

This is part one of a planned two-part series about COVID-19’s effects on the performing arts in our area. In this feature, we’re taking a look at how local schools and student arts programs have responded to the challenges presented by the virus.

A group of parents and students gathered in the parking lot and walked into the September school board meeting together. When it was time for public comment, they urged the board to reinstate the high school drama club.
