Community meeting on KJ pipeline

Jackie Hernandez, a Woodbury resident, has organized a community meeting on the Kiryas Joel pipeline. She is expecting about 200 people at Palaia Winery at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The meeting will include residents as well as people in political office.

The Town Board focused on Route 32 at its June 10 meeting. The board was hoping to ease the traffic jams caused by the bridge repairs, and was taking steps to acquire the Hand property that wraps around the highway garage.
