Corn House attracts a crowd

The Corn Estate

The Corn Estate at the Storm King Engine Company had a busy weekend. The Halloween attraction drew 361 paying guests  — including some visitors from Dutchess County and New York City.

While waiting on line, people played Halloween Jeopardy. The middle school zombies provided entertainment, and the Storm King Ladies Auxiliary served free refreshments. Barbara Hernandez, the winner of the scavenger hunt, sold Corn Estate T-shirts.

The Corn Family will return to scare “the brave and the foolhardy” for the next two weekends.
