William Albert Todd

September 5, 1963-January 26, 2014

William Albert Todd, a native of Cornwall and a former resident of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died in the Cornwall branch of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital on Jan. 26 after a short illness. He was 50.

The son of William and Elsie Bangle Todd, he was born on Sept. 5, 1963. He graduated from Cornwall Central High School in 1981, and worked for Quality Auto Body, Ralph’s and A&R Body Shop. He later worked for the New York State Department for Youth, and then started Seaside Towing in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Guaranteed Towing.

“He was a loving brother and uncle,” his family said, “who loved muscle cars and nig trucks. He loved to collect coins. He will be greatly missed by his sister, his brother-in-law, his nephews and his friends.

Survivors include his sister Deborah (Debbie) Potter and her husband James of Wallkill; his nephews James Potter Jr. and Aaron Potter. He was predeceased by his parents.

The family received visitors on Jan. 29 at Quigley Brothers Funeral Home in Cornwall-on-Hudson. A funeral was held on Jan. 30 at the funeral home, and was followed by burial in Modena Rural Cemetery in Modena, N.Y.
