After welcoming the guests at the Wednesday night moving up ceremony, the middle school principal addressed the eighth-graders. “You’re leaving us taller, funnier and smarter than when you entered.”
The weatherman didn’t play fair with the middle school. On the night of June 25, there was an 80 percent chance of rain. So, naturally, the moving up ceremony was moved inside.
“I wish this community continued success,” Tim Rehm said at the fourth-grade moving-up exercises. “I thank you for your support. It has been and will always be appreciated.”
