Committee explores clean energy

The Cornwall Economic Development Advisory Committee recently issued six recommendations to the Town Board. One of them was to support the Conservation Advisory Council’s (CCAC) quest to create a clean energy community, as well as erect car chargers for electronic vehicles.

Sauer case dismissed

Sept. 27: Judge Beesecker dismissed the case against Martin Sauer, saying that the interest of justice would not be served by subjecting the defendant to the expense of a trial. The judge had previously denied a motion to dismiss the case on its merits.

Special Planning Board Meeting

The Cornwall-on-Hudson Planning Board will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25 at Village Hall to discuss the application of W&B Realty/205 Hudson Street for a change of use to convert a section of a two family apartment into a professional office.
