Hospital to reduce staff

St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) announced today that it will reduce its workforce by approximately 60 positions, resulting in $3.2 million in savings.

Three-town chase ends with arrest

Police chased a motorcyclist through three towns on Columbus Day, and once they caught him they charged him with 19 vehicle and traffic law violations.

You wouldn’t expect to see a boat on the lawn by Rings Pond; so motorists were surprised to see one jammed up against a tree last night.

Skoufis at Cornwall Campus tomorrow

Assemblyman James Skoufis will be on the front steps of the hospital at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow to question the hospital’s request to make the emergency room a part-time facility.
