It’s been a couple of months since The Cornwall Local and News of the Highlands first interviewed local archer Jonathan (Johnny) Leska … and he’s been busy since then!
Throughout this month there will be college graduations all across the country. Most of the students graduating are members of high school classes of 2020.
On Saturday, at noon, in Cornwall, several hundred community members — many of them children — gathered at St. Thomas of Canterbury Cemetery to join the national mission to place wreaths on graves of veterans buried there.
This week ten years ago, The Cornwall Local reported that Farmside Acres, a Christmas tree farm located on Angola Rd. in Cornwall had collected 200 Christmas trees to be donated to American servicemen and women and their families.
Cornwall artist Susan Minier will display her works to the community at Leo’s Restaurant, on Quaker Ave., in the weeks ahead, with an Artist’s Reception planned for Saturday, Dec. 9 from 2-4 p.m.
