February is American Heart Month. In recognition, JoAnn Parker, American Heart Association director for the Hudson Valley Tri-County, offered a hands-only CPR demonstration to 110 Storm King Students and faculty last week.
The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. on Feb. 12, at Village Hall, in order to discuss the issuance of a Revenue Anticipation Note (RAN) for Water Rents and any other matters which may come before the board.

Route 32 is expected to be closed for up to four hours, according to the Department of Transportation. At approximately 2:30 p.m., a two-vehicle accident shut down the state road, in both directions, near Ardmore Street.
Route 9W southbound, just after Mountain Road, was closed for about 90 minutes while an accident was cleared earlier this morning. A vehicle rolled over shortly before 9 a.m. after the driver failed to negotiate a turn.
A motor vehicle accident, involving a car and tractor trailer, has both southbound lanes blocked on Route 9w, underneath the Angola Road overpass. Drivers of both vehicles appeared to be alert. The accident took place at about 12:30 p.m.
