(Photo by Jason Kaplan) – Earlier this week, the New York State Department of Transportation began removing portions of the Rt. 9W span which crosses over Quaker Avenue. Reconstruction will entail working on one side of the bridge while maintaining two-way traffic on the other half. The project will be completed sometime next year.
