Francis B. Trizinsky

May 22, 1929—April 5, 2024

Ellenville, NY formerly Cornwall, NY

Francis B. Trizinsky, a former long-time Cornwall, NY resident, entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2024 at Ellenville Regional Hospital in Wawarsing, NY. He was 94 years old.

The son of the late Francis R. Trizinsky and Sophia (Kraiza) Trizinsky, Francis was born on May 22, 1929 in Cornwall, NY.  

Francis was a retired Pressman for The Cornwall Press.  He honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Korean War. 

Francis was a long-time Parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Newburgh, NY and in recent years the Church of St. Mary & St. Andrew in Ellenville, NY.  In his spare time, Francis loved watching sports and was an avid Knicks fan.  He enjoyed spending time outside with his family.  He will be missed greatly.

Francis was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Margaret M. (Viscardo) Trizinsky.  He is survived by his children:  Mark F. Trizinsky (Joseph Desiderio) of Wallkill, NY and Susan (Trizinsky) Wells and her husband Robert of Ellenville, NY and; his grandchildren: Brittany M. Fraser and her husband Darren, Benjaman and Corey; his great grandson: Harrison Fraser; and by his brother: Leonard Trizinsky of South Point, NC.  In addition to his wife, Francis was predeceased by his sister: Veronica Bradley and his brother: Edward J. Trizinsky.

Visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10th at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 145 Benkard Avenue, Newburgh, NY. Interment with Military Honors followed the Mass at St. Francis Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
