Maureen A. Flanigan, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2024 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. She was 50 years old.
The daughter of Daniel A. Flanigan and Eve Flanigan, Maureen was born on August 24, 1973 in Newburgh, NY.
Maureen graduated from Cornwall High School in 1991 followed by SUNY Albany. She graduated from St. John’s School of Law cum laude in 1998.
She was an active member of the New York State Bar Association and worked for 25 years for several Manhattan law firms.
“She battled her illness, privately, for several years. An illness that kept her from experiencing the things she enjoyed most. Maureen loved doing her job well. Traveling both locally and abroad. She loved the Long Island beaches, reading, movies, spending time with friends, and most of all, being an Aunt. She will be missed by all of those who knew her. “
In addition to her parents, Maureen is survived by her brothers: John P. Flanigan of San Francisco, CA and Matthew F. Flanigan and his wife Caroline of Islip, NY; and by her beloved nieces: Lily and Evie.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. A Chapel Service will be held immediately following the Visitation at 1:00 p.m.

Jonathan Q. Murray, of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2024. The son of the late John J. Murray and the late Carol Carpenter Murray, he was born on July 26, 1954 in Denver, Colorado. He was 69 years old.
Jonathan is survived by his siblings, Terry Murray (Jacqueline), of Cornwall, NY, Kathy Simmons (Gary), of Missouri, and Susan Fletcher Jan-Gordon of Virginia; as well as nieces and nephews.
