Patricia Muriel Graber

December 31, 1929—March 31, 2022

Calabasas, California

Patricia Muriel Graber passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at her home in Calabasas, CA. She was 92 years old. The daughter of the late Anna Martha (Brennan) and George William Regan, she was born on December 31, 1929, in Cornwall, NY.

Patricia worked as a secretary at the United States Military Academy at West Point and James I. O’Neill High School, in Highland Falls, NY.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Graber of Malibu, CA; three grandchildren: Lauren Belle, Leo Graber IV, and Carly Graber; and by six great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Lilliana, Leo, Ella, Scott, and Scarlett. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husband Leo G. Graber Jr. and her son, Leo G. Graber III.

Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY 10928. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Sacred Heart Church, 353 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY, followed by interment at Peacedale Cemetery.

Betty H. Walker

October 9, 1932—May 19, 2022

Cornwall, NY

Betty Walker, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on May 19, 2022 at Sapphire at Meadow Hill, Newburgh, NY. She was 89 years old.

 The daughter of the late Nelson Wright and Lillian (Caton) Wright, Betty was born on October 9, 1932 in Cornwall, NY.  

 Betty loved her family especially her grandchildren, her church community and her cats. She was an active member of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. Betty was a retired administrative clerk for the Radiology Department at The Cornwall Hospital where she served many years. 

 Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, Hurshell Walker, Sr.  She is survived by her sons: Hurshell Walker, Jr. of Endicott, NY, John Walker and his wife Liz of New Windsor, NY and Jim Walker and his wife Lucy of Newburgh, NY; and by her grandchildren: Carolyn, Nicole, Andy, Erika, Katelin, Gwen, Grace, and Ben.

 Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home. 

 Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 29th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.  Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.  Betty and Hurshell will be laid to rest together in the family plot at Bethlehem Cemetery, Cornwall, NY at a later date.
