Robert J. Dal Cin, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on September 15, 2021 at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. He was 78 years old.
The son of the late Fausto Dal Cin and Beatrice (Bitto) Dal Cin, Robert was born on May 13, 1943 in Passaic, NJ.
Robert was a retired Machinist for Monroe Wire & Cable Company, Middletown, NY. He was a devoted grandfather and enjoyed his retirement years by spending hours working on LEGO’s and Sundays on the side line of his grandson’s soccer games. Prior to the pandemic, he could often be seen in town on his daily walks wearing his signature ‘newsboy’ cap. Robert will be remembered as an old school gentleman that often insisted on helping neighbors during snowstorms, rather than accepting assistance from them.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Lynn Dal Cin in 2001. He is survived by his daughters: Susan M. (Dal Cin) Billard and her husband Brian of New Windsor, NY and Diane (Dal Cin) Roe and her husband Steve of Chester, NY; and by his grandchildren: Brighton Billard, Cailley and Chloe Roe.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 21st at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Chapel Service was held on Wednesday, September 22nd at the funeral home. Interment followed the Service at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.

Linda Mae Lyons

Linda M. Lyons, of Salisbury Mills, NY entered into rest on Saturday, September 11,2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was 73. Daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Lukacik) Keller, she was born on November 9, 1947 in Cornwall NY.
Linda was an amazing Mother and Grandmother. The love she had for her family was impeccable. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Nothing brought her greater joy than being surrounded by her family. Anyone that knows her knew she would do anything for anyone. She had a deep love for animals from raccoons, stray cats, birds, groundhogs and deer. The animals never went hungry when she was around.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Thomas Lyons; her children: Arthur Terwilliger and wife, Jeanine of Newburgh NY, Matthew Terwilliger and fiancé, Corinne of Wappingers Falls NY, and Thomas Lyons Jr and wife, Amanda of Salisbury Mills NY; grandchildren: Gabrielle Lyons, Nicholas Terwilliger and Justin Lyons; as well as many nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her brother, Charles Keller, and sisters, Barbara McDaniel and Grace Peacock.
Mom, we can no longer see you with our eyes, or touch you with our hands, but we will feel you in our hearts forever.
Grandma you will be forever missed and eternally loved. You are our special angel! Please watch over us and keep us safe.

Friends and family joined the family for a graveside service on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Calvary Cemetery, 304 Walsh Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553.

Herman Erich Schroeder

Herman Erich Schroeder, of Cornwall, N.Y. entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2021 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh, N.Y. He was 85 years old.
The son of the late Erich Schroeder and Anna (Munk) Schroeder, Herman was born on September 16, 1935 in Englewood, N.J.
Herman was a retired Project Manager for Bond Construction Company in Monroe, NY for 40 years.
Herman honorably and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Herman remained in contact with Stan Kelly of New York City and several other “Army Buddies” across the U.S.
He was an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Cornwall and volunteered at Good Shepherd Soup Kitchen. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Herman is survived by his loving sister: Else (Schroeder) Ellett in Colorado and her son Andrew; his cousin: Robert Schroeder, Sr. and his wife Linda; cousin: Irene Murray of New Jersey; and cousins: Linda Potyak and her husband Joseph and their children Madeline, Joseph and Kyle. Also, Herman will be missed by cousin: Robert Schroeder, Jr. and his son Robert III of Massachusetts. The Jansen Family of Florida were childhood friends of Herman, so his passing will be a great loss for them.
Regardless of vaccination status, individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in church.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25th at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 66 Clinton Street Cornwall, N.Y.; Rev. Suzanne Toro will officiate. Inurnment will take place following the Service in St. John’s Episcopal Church Columbarium.
