A splash of color

On a perfectly lovely summer morning several dozen members of the Cornwall Garden Club gathered on the grounds of the Sands Ring Homestead to talk about the history of their group.

People may not be making the connection. They may see the colorful plantings at the circle, the flower-filled urns on Main Street, and the floral decorations at the Village Bandstand. But who’s responsible for these improvements?

Trustee David Carnright brought to the board’s attention a way in which residents are avoiding paying for a riverfront parking pass.
