At a special meeting today, the school board accepted Mike Connolly’s resignation as a teacher and football coach. He will not be with the team tonight. One of his assistants, Eric Holzapple, will take over as head coach.
This was Mr. Connelly’s fifth year leading the Dragons. Under his guidance, the team won a regional championship in 2014, and section titles in each of the next three years. This season the Dragons are undefeated.
