School district voters turned down both propositions in yesterday’s referendum.

The public also nixed Proposition II, which would have moved fifth-graders back to the elementary schools at a cost not to exceed $3.05 million. There were 1,542 “no” votes against 897 yeses.
Board of Education President Larry Berger announced a special meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1 at Lee Road School.
