Hundreds came to visit the Wall that Heals last weekend. Among them was Steven Graf, who served in Vietnam from 1967 to 69 as part of the Army’s 101st Airborne Division. “My friends died here,” he said as he choked back tears. The Gardiner resident was both happy and sad to see the replica of Washington, D.C.’s Vietnam Veterans Memorial come to the Hudson Valley. “It means a lot. I lost a lot of good friends.”
