A crash brought Broadway residents out of their home this morning. They thought it might be a hit-and-run accident, but as soon as they got outside, they could see what happened. A blue Kia had plowed into the back of a parked truck. The front end of the Kia was compacted, and the operator was still inside. Observers thought she might have lost consciousness while she was driving.
The Town Police, Cornwall Fire Department and COVAC responded to the call, and were able to get the driver out of the car. She managed to walk and get into the ambulance without assistance.
