Thousands of tabs December 8, 2017 Editorial Staff Photo by Jason Kaplan Over the last three years Maryann Monforte, at Cornwall Middle School, and members of the high school’s Environmental Club successfully collected 224,000 aluminum tabs for Shriner’s Hospital’s Tabs for Tots program. The tabs are sold for scrap and the money is used to provide free hospital transportation for children.
