Louis Boselli

Louis “Gino” Boselli, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, entered into eternal rest on March 9 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was 79.
The son of the late John Boselli and Maria Ferrari, Louis was born on Jan. 27, 1938 in the Bronx.
Louis was an active member of the National Railway Historical Society, O&W Railroad Club, Meccano Erector Collectors Association, the NRA and other civic affiliations. He was a retired Tool and Die Maker from Star Expansion in Mountainville, and a Model Maker from West Point. “Lou was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle,” his family said. “He was a patient man and a willing mentor to anyone who needed advice or guidance.
His hobbies included target shooting, tin toy collecting, Erector set restoration, model train building and exploring the U.S. and Canadian railways.” His calm demeanor and unwavering friendship endeared Lou to all. He will be greatly missed.
Louis was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Josephine “Jeanie” Boselli in 2015. He is survived by his son, John Boselli and his wife, Diane of Highland Mills; his daughter, Lisa Loscalzo and her husband, Rick of Tampa, Fla.; his four grandchildren, Nicole and Steven Boselli of Highland Mills; Armand and Annabella Loscalzo of Tampa, Fla.; and his brother, Aldo Boselli, his wife Elizabeth and their children Janine and Matthew of New Port Richey, Fla.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 17 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, following the Service.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
George W. Regan, Jr.

George W. Regan, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, March 7, at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor. He was 80.
Son of the late George W. Regan, Sr. and Martha Brennan Regan, he was born in Cornwall on Feb. 26, 1937.
George graduated from Highland Falls High School and was class president in 1955. He attended SUNY Albany and was a payroll clerk at Palisades Parkway Commission in Bear Mountain. He was drafted into the Army serving in the SP4 Personnel office and as an instructor at the Adjutant General School, Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Ind. where he met his wife, Pilar Olea. He worked as an administrator at Electronic Tabulating Corp, Newburgh, for over 20 years. He attended Rockland County Community College earning his AS Degree while working as a computer lab manager and then attended Dominican College, Blauvelt, where he received his BA and Master’s Degrees. After earning his Master’s, he worked at West Point Personnel Office as an IT and instructor for civilian staff until retirement. He was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 24, little league coach, ponytail softball coach, girls soccer coach, and volunteered with the West Point swim team/club.
Survivors include his daughters Deborah MacLeod of Fort Montgomery and Pilar Kellenbarger and husband Mark of Encinitas, Calif.; son George W. Regan, III and wife Monday of Rosemead, Calif.; sister Patricia Graber of Calabasas, Calif.; former wife, Pilar Olea of Fort Montgomery; 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters Rosemary Townsend and Sally O’Dell, and his son-in-law Glen MacLeod.
