Terrence “Terry” H. Lindenberger

Terrence H. Lindenberger, of Cornwall-on-Hudson entered into eternal rest at his home, on Jan. 31 with his family by his side. He was 54 years old.
The son of the late Gerard F. Lindenberger and Jean DeGaris Lindenberger of Newburgh, Terry was born on Dec. 23, 1962 in Nyack.
He was the Supervisor of maintenance for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Pearl River, NY.
In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his loving wife, Kerry A. Keenan Lindenberger; his daughter, Hailey J. Lindenberger at home; his son, Matthew J. Lindenberger at home; and his sister, Irene Lindenberger of Newburgh.
His family received visitors on Monday, Feb. 6 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Memorial Contributions in Terry’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Carmelita J. Montalvo

Highland Falls
Carmelita J. Montalvo of Highland Falls, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Northern Manor Geriatric Center in Nanuet. She was 70.
Daughter of the late Claudio Jorda and Marcelina Puso Jorda, she was born in the Philippines on Dec. 10, 1946.
Carmelita was a retired teacher for P.S. 188, New York, N.Y. She was a member of the United Federation of Teachers and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Highland Falls.
She is survived by her husband Demetrio Rosales of the Philippines; sons, Joven Rosales of Union, NJ and Dante Rosales of the Philippines; daughter Joy Rosales of Newburgh; her brother Rodolfo Jorda of the Philippines; sisters Lucita Sarol and Rebecca Roz of the Philippines; three grandchildren, Sarah & Jessica Rosales and Rececca Taurino; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Fe. 11 at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m.. . Interment will be in Eagle Valley Cemetery, in the Town of Highlands.
Nicholas Squicciarini
September 1, 1951 – February 2, 2017
Fort Montgomery
Nicholas Charles Squicciarini, affectionately known as “Skitch,” passed away on Feb. 2. He was 65.
Born on September 1, 1951 to June and Frank Squicciarini, Skitch was a lifelong resident of Fort Montgomery. He attended St. Patrick’s High School in Newburgh and Marist College. Skitch was a proud founder and original proprietor of Benny Havens Pub & Restaurant in Highland Falls with his lifelong friend, Mary-Kate. He spent years working for Orange County Department of Social Services as a Child Protective Services senior caseworker.
Skitch was an avid New York sports fan, most especially of his beloved Yankees and Marist Red Foxes. He was a passionate musician, talented guitarist and vocalist. His music provided the soundtrack to many memorable moments throughout so many peoples’ lives. He’ll be forever remembered as a heartfelt, loving family man and an inspiring advocate for humanity.
Skitch is survived by two loving daughters, Cara Nichole Squicciarini of Weehawken, NJ and Marissa Kate Tarkington; son-in-law Shawn Tarkington of Garrison; their mother, Mary Kate Squicciarini; his mother, June Squicciarini of Highland Falls; sisters, Lee Ann Ranieri and husband Jim of Highland Falls, and Susan Hoffman of Fredericksburg, Va.; brothers, Frank Squicciarini and wife Donna of Absecon, NJ and Tony Squicciarini and wife Rachelle of Fort Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews.
Skitch was predeceased by his father Frank Squicciarini and sister Amy Squicciarini.
He will always be remembered as a doting and loving Pop Pop by grandchildren Hudson, Harper and Haiden Tarkington, who filled his life with love and laughter and made his eyes twinkle with pride.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Feb. 8 at Sacred Heart Church, Highland Falls. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope.
