Cornwall’s 11-12 All Stars will be playing for the district championship on Wednesday night on their home field. The Dragons advanced to the finals on July 7 with a 19-9 win over Chester.
In that game, which was shortened by the 10-run rule, the Dragons rallied from a 6-0 deficit in the first inning. The contest ended with a grand slam by Connor Zatlukal.
The Dragons will host either Pine Bush or Chester on Wednesday night. Game time is 5:45 p.m. If the Dragons lose, they’ll return the following evening for a winner-take-all showdown.
