There was a crowd in town today, as chapters of Girls on the Run from all over the county came to Cornwall for a season-ending 5K. There were 2,000 participants. The soccer field at NYMA and the middle school parking lot were filled with cars. For a while, traffic was backed up on Route 9W.
Fortunately, there were enough volunteers and police to handle the crowd and get people to their destination.
