Gary G. Larkin

Gary G. Larkin, of Cornwall-on-Hudson entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 2, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was 62 years old.
The son of the late John W. Larkin and Barbara Henn Larkin, Gary was born on April 20, 1953 in Suffern, N.Y. He was employed at West Point by the Department of Defense.
Gary was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia A. Larkin; his daughter, Kara Larkin-Rogers and husband Christopher of Fairfax, Vt..; his grandsons, Camden and Hayden Rogers, who were the light of his life; brothers, Kenneth Larkin and wife Joanne of Ballston Spa, N.Y. and Michael Larkin of Cornwall; beloved nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
“May you rest in peace,” his family said, “and know you will always be in our hearts. Love you always!”

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 7 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Burial followed the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor.

Mary Jo Myszelow
January 1, 1940-Match 31, 2016
Mary Jo Myszelow passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 31 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. She was 76 years old.
The daughter of the late Joseph G. Myszelow and Mary Antona Myszelow, she was born on Jan. 1, 1940 in Cornwall. Mary Jo retired from RCA of New York after 25 years and also worked at the United Nations in New York City.
She was a member of the Cornwall Democratic Club, and an avid bridge player. Besides being fluent in Italian, she taught English to children while living in Germany. As a world traveler Mary Jo visited China, Tibet, Australia, Turkey, Peru, Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Mexico and the Galapagos Islands.
Mary Jo is survived by her one sister Theresa Sanford of New Windsor and her nephew Warren Sanford of New Windsor; her niece Mercedes Sanford of Florida; her grandnephew Andrew Sanford and grandniece Alyssa Sanford of New Windsor; and grandniece Kelly Perkowski of Florida in addition to many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her family received visitors on April 5 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. in Monroe. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on April 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newburgh, and was followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor.

Mary Ann G. Neuman
Died April 1, 2016
Mary Ann G. Neuman passed away peaceably at her home on April 1. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Peter Neuman and by her children Michael Catalano and his son Jack, Kevin Catalano and his stepsons Tommy and Ben Gabriel, and Tracie Catalano. She is also survived by her stepchildren Clifford and Gracie Neuman, Christopher and Kristin Neuman and their children Joshua and Daniel.
Mary Ann was an accomplished photographer, having her work published in many national publications and she was a lifetime member of the Black Rock Fish and Game Club.
Mary Ann’s final wish was for everyone to try to live their lives with kindness and dignity. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Grail in Cornwall-on-Hudson and to Safe Homes of Orange County in Newburgh, two organizations important to Mary Ann.
Memorial visitation will be at 10 a.m. on April 9 and a celebration of Mary Ann’s life will follow at 11 am at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
