Lisa Castanon, whose car was hit by a train in November, appeared in court last night and pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while impaired.
She was fined $560, and required to attend a victim impact panel and a course related to impaired driving. After her accident, the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson met with railroad and DOT officials to make the crossings safer.
