Wayne Corts, who owns the Falkirk Country Club, signed a contract with Connect One Bank yesterday to buy the Storm King Golf Course. He expects the closing to take place in late February or early March.
Two hours after he signed the contract, Mr. Corts was ebullient. He praised the beauty of the course, and promised to make several improvements — starting with the driveway, which he considers dangerous.
He plans to use the dining facilities to accommodate the overflow from the Falkirk, which can accommodate much larger parties. Additional details will appear in this week’s edition of The Cornwall Local.
