Barbara S. Perretti

Barbara S. Perretti, of Cornwall, died at home surrounded by her family on Dec. 11.

The daughter of the late Edward Hannigan and Lucille Pensato Hannigan, she was born on June 12, 1938 in the Bronx.

“Barbara was a loving housewife and mother,” her family said. “She will be greatly missed by all of us.”

She is survived by her loving husband, Vito A. Perretti; her daughter Rosanne and her husband Peter of Cornwall; her son Joseph Perretti and his wife Eva of Chappaqua, NY; her grandchildren Brooke Railo and her husband Craig, Peter Finkel, Nicholas Perretti, Victoria Perretti and her great grandchildren Luke and Isabella Railo.

Her family received visitors on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home in Cornwall-on-Hudson.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Dec. 16 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson with Fr. Reese Doughty officiating. Burial followed the Mass at The Woodlawn Cemetery, in the Bronx.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County.
