Four students at Storm King School are raising money to create a full-tuition scholarship. Their original goal was to help a refugee from Syria. But after they volunteered at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, the eighth-graders decided to help someone closer to Cornwall.
Besides funding the scholarship, the students will have a role in deciding who receives it. The entire story will appear in a future edition of The Cornwall Local.
