This morning at U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Judge Cecelia Morris approved the sale of NYMA to the Research Center on Natural Conservation. The center is a not-for-profit organization, whose principals are part of SouFun Holdings.
The sale will take place by Oct. 30, and NYMA employees will be paid up to date. Anthony Desa, the president of the NYMA Board of Trustees, predicted that the school would be up and running soon.
Judge Morris was pleased with the results, and praised everyone involved in the transaction.
