Mabel L. Piatt

March 23, 1932-September 27, 2015

Mabel L. Piatt, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 27 at Elant at Goshen. She was 83-years-old and a former resident of Cornwall.

The daughter of Louis A. and Hazel Rose (Spellman) Mains, Mabel was born on March 23, 1932 in Highland Falls, N.Y. She was a homemaker and the widow of Carl J. Piatt.

Mabel is survived by her children:  Louis W. Haines (Elizabeth) of New Windsor,  Carl J. Piatt (Joann) of New Windsor, Rose Padgett (Thomas) of Williamsburg, Va, Jan Piatt of New Windsor, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was due to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-on-Hudson. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, N.Y.
