A medical emergency caused a driver to sideswipe a dump truck on Quaker Avenue this morning and then collide head-on with a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Quaker and Elm. The drivers were treated for minor injuries and their vehicles were towed away.
