Peter C. Faurot

Peter C. Faurot, a lifelong resident of Cornwall-on-Hudson, entered into rest on Saturday, April 18.
The son of Irving and Margaret Taylor Faurot, he was born on October 8, 1940 in Cornwall.
He was a retired Federal Police Officer and an active member of the Peace Officers Association of Orange County. He was a 50 year life member and ex-chief of Storm King Engine Co. #2, and a life member of Black Rock Fish and Game Club. He was also a member of the Storm King Engine Benevolent Association.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Peter loved his walks in Black Rock Forest. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Irene; his three sons John, Tory and his wife Gail, David and his wife Lori; his mother Margaret Taylor Faurot; brothers Sandy Faurot, Randy Faurot and his wife Judy; sister Mary Faurot: three granddaughters, whom he loved and treasured so much, Sarah, Taylor and Hailey Faurot; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Irving Cornell Faurot.

Patricia Ann Riley
March 1, 1928-April 10, 2015
Patricia Ann Riley, of Fairfax, Va., formerly of Cornwall, entered into eternal rest on April 10, surrounded by her family at home. She was 87 years old.
The daughter of Frank and Catherine O’Reilly White, Pat was born on March 1, 1928 in Cornwall.
She was a secretary in the Office of the Dean at the United States Military Academy for 35 years.
She was a member of Saint Thomas of Canterbury Church, Storm King Ladies Auxiliary and the Red Hat Ladies. “She will be missed greatly,” her family said.
She is survived by her son Michael Riley and his wife Denise of Cornwall-on-Hudson, daughters Anne Riley Nichols and her husband James of Fairfax, Va. and Susan Riley McNeely and husband Robert of Walden; by her grandchildren Matthew Albers, Meghann Albers McConnell, James Nichols, Sean Riley, Taylor McNeely, Andy Riley, Kyle and Colin McNeely, by her great grandson Liam McConnell and by her sister Elizabeth Jurgens. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest (Bucky) Riley, her son Timothy Riley, her grandson Connor McNeely and her brother Robert White.
Her family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 24 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Thomas Cemetery.
